Each Flavia Fleming creation starts with a single brushstroke

Drawing inspiration from the French Impressionist masters, artist and designer Flavia has created an exclusive collection of dresses originating from hand-painted floral compositions, which were created en plein air in the luminous landscapes of Lugano, Lake Como and other European locations.

From the “canvas” to the final silk garment, the collection is entirely designed and hand-painted by the designer in Switzerland.

Flavia creates all the silk fabrics for her collection herself. For each dress, she selects a particular refined base colour and paints unique watercolor floral motifs, each dedicated to a specific flower and telling its story.

Impressionist–style flowers

As if they were about to bloom directly on the silk fabric, the flowers and leaves are painted by the designer en plein air.

The designer’s skilful, signature brushwork, which is both light and lively, and the interplay of bold or delicate colour tones lend the atmospheric floral motifs an incomparable delicacy and vibrancy, as if they were blooming directly on the silk fabric.
